Our Ideology

Liberation ideology rooted in Ambedkarism, working towards a casteless and egalitarian society.

Core Principles

Anti-Caste Liberation

Complete annihilation of the caste system and all forms of caste-based discrimination and untouchability. We follow Dr. Ambedkar's philosophy of caste eradication through education, organization, and agitation.

Social Justice & Equality

Championing the rights of Dalits, Adivasis, and all oppressed communities. Fighting for equal opportunities in education, employment, and political representation through reservations and affirmative action.

Rationalism & Self-Respect

Following Periyar's rationalist philosophy, rejecting superstitions and religious orthodoxy. Promoting scientific temper and self-respect among all communities, especially the oppressed.

Dalit Liberation Movement

Organizing Dalits as a political force for self-determination and empowerment. Fighting against caste atrocities, land alienation, and economic exploitation of Dalit communities.

Land & Economic Rights

Demanding land rights for landless Dalits and Adivasis. Fighting for fair wages, labor rights, and economic justice for agricultural workers and unorganized sector laborers.

Secularism & Democracy

Committed to democratic values, secularism, and rational thinking. Building alliances with progressive forces to combat communalism, casteism, and all forms of social oppression.

Our Vision

"A casteless, classless, and egalitarian society where Dalits and all oppressed people live with dignity, self-respect, and equal rights. A Tamil Nadu and India free from caste discrimination, where social, economic, and political power is shared equally among all communities."

Ideological Foundations

Ambedkarism - Our Guiding Light

VCK is firmly rooted in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's philosophy of liberty, equality, and fraternity. We follow his teachings on caste annihilation, constitutional methods of protest, and the importance of political power for social transformation.

Ambedkar's vision of an egalitarian society, his emphasis on education as the key to empowerment, and his commitment to social justice through constitutional safeguards form the core of VCK's ideology and political practice.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

Periyar's Rationalism & Self-Respect

We embrace Periyar E.V. Ramasamy's rationalist philosophy and his Self-Respect Movement. His fight against Brahminical supremacy, religious orthodoxy, and superstitions inspires our struggle for social transformation in Tamil Nadu.

Periyar's advocacy for women's rights, social equality, and his challenge to caste hierarchies through the Self-Respect Movement continue to guide VCK's approach to social reform and political mobilization.
